Hello!
I’m Nicci Willis. I’m a wife to my wonderful husband of over 15 years Jameen Willis. I am mom to two wonderful adult children Josh and Nea, and our youngest son Jonathan, and dog mom to my sweet (and sometimes sour) rescue pup Nyla. I’m a Las Vegas realtor, investor, and community leader. I enjoy leading worship at my local church and co-hosting a witty podcast with my husband called “At Home with the Willises”- a podcast where we discuss family, faith, business, and real estate from a married couple’s perspective. I am the co-founder of Black Henderson and a member of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce. When I’m not working, I love exploring new local restaurants with my family.
My platform is the Front Burner Project- a mission to level the playing field for women entrepreneurs in underrepresented communities. It's about ensuring that every aspiring business owner has the resources, funding, and mentorship necessary to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances.

My Platform:
The Front Burner Project
In 2010, at the age of 26, I embarked on the journey of entrepreneurship. As a young black woman, the road was challenging. I encountered countless barriers in accessing the resources necessary to not only start my business but also to nurture its growth. I felt isolated and overlooked in an ecosystem that often seemed designed for someone else.
Despite the obstacles, I persevered. In 2018, I achieved a milestone by reaching my first six figures in revenue. However, my personal success is only part of the story. It ignited within me a passion to ensure that other women, especially those who look like me and have similar experiences as me, have access to the support and opportunities they deserve.
The Front Burner Project is a vision to level the playing field for women entrepreneurs of color. It's about ensuring that every aspiring business owner has the resources, funding, and mentorship necessary to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Imagine a world where every pot on the stove receives the attention and resources it needs to flourish and feed the world. That's the world we're striving to create—a world where the potential of women entrepreneurs in underserved communities is recognized and supported.
For the past eight years, I've been actively involved with Mortar, a national nonprofit dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs in underprivileged areas. Through MORTAR and my organization, Black Henderson, we've been making strides in local communities, hosting events, providing education, and championing the cause of minority entrepreneurship.
But we can't do it alone. We need your help to fuel our mission. By donating to the Front Burner Project, you're investing in a future where opportunity knows no bounds. Your contribution will directly support grants, funding initiatives, and educational programs that empower women to build businesses that sustain families and communities for generations to come.
Join us in bringing equality and equity to women entrepreneurs. Together, we can move every pot to the front burner.
